The LaSalle Theatre was built in 1938 and through the majority of the last 89 years it has brought entertainment to the population of Kirkland Lake. However, in recent years it has passed through various ownerships falling slowly into disrepair, taking with it a huge piece of the town's history.
A dedicated group of Kirkland Lake citizens formed an organization with the hopes to save the LaSalle Theatre. Help them achieve their ultimate goal of restoring the building to its original grandeur, and to once again provide the town of Kirkland Lake and surrounding communities a unique cinema experience where they can enjoy performing arts, music and theatrical shows. This is also an opportunity to educate and encourage public appreciation of the arts and music within their community through participation in productions and workshops.
